First Impressions
I installed Raycast to replace Spotlight. Now I use it for everything. Calculating dates, resizing images, and now—AI. I can press a hotkey, type a question to GPT-4, and paste the answer, all without opening a browser.
Best Feature: AI Quicklinks
I set up a command 'Fix Grammar'. I highlight text anywhere on my Mac, hit the hotkey, and Raycast fixes it in place. It brings AI into the OS layer.
The Verdict
The single best utility app on Mac. Once you use it, you can't go back to Spotlight.
